Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Tristaina cable car?

With an investment of around 6 million euros, the andorra cable car summer can transport up to 1,000 people per hour. It features 20 cabins, expandable to 31, reaching a capacity of up to 1,600 people per hour. Each cabin seats 10 passengers.

Although the name refers to the Tristaina peak and glacial cirque, the cable car does not reach that area, which is preserved as a natural mountain route. The ride ends at la Coma d’Arcalís.

What is the Creussans chairlift?

This chairlift is easily accessible and has an elevation gain of about 220 meters. The route starts at the end of the Arcalís road, at an altitude of 2,625 meters.

The Creussans chairlift also takes you close to the Creussans peak — one of the most iconic points in the area — and to the Tristaina Solar Viewpoint, offering spectacular views over the entire glacial cirque. The 1,060-meter-long ride lasts between 15 and 20 minutes and provides an unforgettable panoramic experience.

From this point, you can also take a hike to the Creussans Lake, surrounded by pristine nature and very close to the French border. It’s a perfect summer hiking route for nature lovers.
