Andorra is a paradise for nature lovers. Of the country's total surface area of 468 km², only 8% is urbanized territory. The summer months are the perfect time to discover hiking trails and mountain paths; even the GR route allows you to explore the country and take advantage of mountain refuges to spend the night.
The Madriu-Perafita-Claror Valley, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is one of the must-visit places for its landscapes, lakes, and diversity. Additionally, the country is part of other UNESCO projects such as the Ordino Biosphere Reserve. Without a doubt, it is a country with a lot of natural wealth and biodiversity that can be discovered on foot.
