Ordino Arcalís has officially kicked off the 2025–2026 season today. Recent snowfall and the work of the technical teams have made it possible to bring the opening forward by one week compared to the originally scheduled start of the season, set for 5 December.
Thus, the slopes in the Coma area have been prepared, and the six-seater detachable Coma chairlift, the Tristaina Gondola and the Orris ski lift have been put into operation. The resort will progressively expand the number of available facilities and slopes as conditions allow. Weather forecasts indicate that new snowfalls could arrive in the coming days and that temperatures will be favourable for snowmaking.
The Ordino Arcalís day pass is available at a reduced price of 35 euros today and tomorrow, and can only be purchased at the Hortell ticket offices. The price of the day pass will vary depending on the expansion of the open slopes. Meanwhile, those who already hold any of the Grandvalira Resorts Season Passes (Andorra Pass, Nord Pass, Mountain Pass or School Pass) can now start their season.
Additionally, the resort has opened the La Coma Restaurant, the La Coma Fast Food and the Hortell café. The ski school and the rental shops have also begun operating.
By bringing the season opening forward, Ordino Arcalís once again becomes the first ski resort in the country to open, reaffirming the quality of its snow thanks to its privileged location in the Ordino valleys.
