Conditions for the opening of the season 23-24
Updated: 4 December 2023 at 3 pm.
Ordino Arcalis will partially open tomorrow, December 5th.
On Wednesday, December 6th, Ordino Arcalís will also expand the ski area to 54% of its kilometers of slopes and 50% of the facilities.
The precipitation from last Friday and the low temperatures in recent days, which have facilitated the production of snow, along with the meticulous work of the technical teams on the ground, have allowed the Andorran domains to confirm the opening starting this Tuesday, December 5th.
Finally, Ordino Arcalís will reopen La Coma tomorrow with the six-seat detachable chairlift, the Tristaina gondola, and the Orris ski lift, while on Wednesday, eight new ski lifts will come into operation. In total, the Ordino station will have 54% of its skiable kilometers operational, as well as 50% of the facilities. The price of the day pass for tomorrow will remain at €30 and will only be available at the ticket offices, while on Wednesday, it will increase to €39 and can also be purchased through the online channels of Grandvalira Resorts.
It is worth noting that all Grandvalira Resorts stations will have operational ski and snowboard schools, as well as beginner areas in the different sectors and nurseries.
On the activities side, guided excursions will be available at Ordino Arcalís to the Mirador Solar de Tristaina and also to the Port del Rat.
Regarding dining options, the Restaurant La Coma, Fast food La Coma, and the Hortell cafeteria will be open, along with the addition of the Planells cafeteria and the Portelles Refuge.
Forfait Plus+ now on sale
Starting this Wednesday, the Ski Pass Plus+ will be available for purchase, allowing maximum enjoyment of each skiing day without having to visit the ticket offices. This pass, valid for the entire winter season, is personal and non-transferable, and is paid for each day of skiing at Grandvalira, Pal Arinsal, or Ordino Arcalís. Furthermore, the Forfait Plus+ rewards each skiing day with a 15% discount compared to the on-site ticket price, from the second day of skiing at the visited resort. It's important to note that the Forfait Plus+ is reloadable, so those who had it from the previous season can renew it through their MyGrandSki account and ski without visiting the ticket offices.
