Ordino Arcalís celebrates Carnival with a complete programme combining daytime entertainment for children and magical moments on the snow in the late afternoon. A perfect day to enjoy a festive atmosphere in a high-mountain setting.
Friday 14 February – Morning activities (12:00 pm – 3:00 pm)
In the morning, Carnival fills Planells with colour and fun through family-friendly activities especially designed for children:
- Fancy dress competition with a medieval theme.
- Entertainment with the resort’s mascots.
- Face painting.
- Interactive installation: The Strange Journey of Mr Tonet.
Come and enjoy the activities and take part for a chance to win prizes and gifts, such as a subscription to the Màgic Ski School.
Friday 14 February – Afternoon activities
In the afternoon, Carnival continues with one of the most special moments of the day: the torchlight descent, featuring students, families and instructors from the Màgic Club and the Ski School.

Torchlight descent details:
- 6:15 pm – Meeting point at the Abarsetar chairlift.
- 6:35 pm – Start of the descent.
- Route: La Font slope – Pleta – arrival at Planells.
The day will end with a sweet closing at the Màgic room, with hot chocolate and coca for all participants.
*The torchlight descent is open to Màgic Club students and parents and Ski School instructors. External participants must contact the Ordino Arcalís Ski School in advance.
