On Wednesday 12 August 2026, head up to the Tristaina solar viewpoint and enjoy the solar eclipse from a privileged high-mountain setting. A guided experience to discover this natural phenomenon from one of the most spectacular landscapes in Ordino Arcalís.
This is an exceptional phenomenon that had not occurred again since the beginning of the 20th century.
Solar Eclipse Activity
The activity consists of a ride up on the Creussans chairlift to the Tristaina viewpoint. Once there, a mountain guide will accompany participants during the observation of the solar eclipse and will explain the characteristics of this unusual astronomical phenomenon.
What’s included:
- Access to the Creussans chairlift, ascent and descent.
- Route accompanied by a mountain guide.
- Certified glasses to observe the eclipse safely.
Timetable:
The meeting point for the activity will be at La Coma.
- Ascent: from 18:30 to 19:15.
- Descent: from 20:45 onwards.
Dinner at La Coma:
The La Coma restaurant will open exceptionally on the night of the activity and will offer a special menu for adults and children. When you book the activity and dinner, enjoy a special price for the whole experience.

If you book dinner at La Coma, you will first pay the €17 for the activity. This amount will be deducted from the price of the dinner, so the total price of the activity and dinner will be €55 per adult.

What should you bring?
To enjoy the activity comfortably, it is recommended to bring mountain footwear, warm clothing as temperatures can drop, water and a torch to make it easier to get around in low-light conditions.
Information and conditions
- Children under 5 years old have free access.
- Free admission for children under 5 does not include the observation glasses.
- Children under 3 years old cannot use the chairlift.
- Certified glasses can be purchased at the La Coma shop for €3.
- In case of bad weather, the activity will be cancelled.
- This activity is not included with the season pass.
