On Wednesday, 12 August 2026, head up to the Tristaina viewpoint and enjoy the solar eclipse from a privileged high-mountain setting. A guided experience to discover this natural phenomenon from one of the most spectacular landscapes in Ordino Arcalís. It is an exceptional phenomenon that had not occurred since the beginning of the 20th century.
The activity consists of an ascent on the Creussans chairlift to the viewpoint, where a mountain guide will accompany participants during the solar eclipse experience and provide an explanation of this astronomical phenomenon
Price and included services:
The price of the activity is €17 per person and includes:
- Access to the Creussans chairlift, with ascent and descent.
- Guided tour with a mountain guide.
- Certified glasses to observe the eclipse safely.
Timetable:
The meeting point for the activity will be at La Coma.
- Ascent: from 6:30 p.m. to 7:15 p.m.
- Descent: from 8:45 p.m. onwards.
Places are limited and subject to availability.
What should you bring?
To enjoy the activity comfortably, it is recommended to bring mountain footwear, warm clothing as temperatures can drop, water and a torch to make moving around easier in low-light conditions.

La Borda de la Coma will open exceptionally that night and offer a special menu for adults and children. An ideal option to extend the experience with a mountain dinner under the skies of Ordino Arcalís.

Information and conditions
- Children under 5 years old have free access.
- Free admission for under-5s does not include the observation glasses.
- Children under 3 years old cannot use the chairlift.
- Certified glasses can be purchased at the La Coma shop for €3.
- In case of bad weather, the activity will be cancelled.
Tickets can also be purchased in person at the ticket offices or at the La Coma shop on the same day, if there are places available.
