Two special nights in the protected Sorteny Valley to discover its landscape and starry sky in the heart of nature. Each outing coincides with a traditional full moon rich in symbolism:
Thursday, 10 July 2025 – Buck Moon
Associated with the time when deer antlers begin to grow rapidly.
Sunday, 7 September 2025 – Harvest Moon
Historically, marked the ideal moment to gather the summer harvests.
What you need to know about this activity
The walk starts from the Sorteny parking area and follows a gentle path through meadows and forest up to the refuge. Along the way, there will be a brief interpretation of the natural surroundings: peaks, native flora and fauna. Once at the refuge, a small snack will be served while waiting for the full moon to rise and stargazing. The return will follow the same route.
