Ordino Arcalís extends the season until April 14th

The recent snowfalls and accumulated snow depths allow extending the activity at Ordino station for this winter

Ordino Arcalís confirms that it will extend the winter season 2023-2024 until April 14th. The accumulated snow depths at the Ordino station, thanks to the recent abundant snowfalls, ensure good conditions beyond April 7th, the initially planned closing date, and therefore allow extending the end of the season in the Ordino domain. Currently, Arcalís has snow depths of up to 170 centimetres of accumulated powder snow, which may continue to increase with the new precipitations announced for the coming days, and has 96% of the slopes open, which will become 100% with the opening of the Freixans slope this weekend.

Furthermore, the station will also keep all services open until April 14th, such as the catering points of La Coma, Planells, L'Hortell, and Portella del Mig, as well as equipment rental and ski and snowboard school.

On the other hand, both Grandvalira and Pal Arinsal, which are currently in very good conditions as well, maintain the forecast to close the season on April 7th. It is worth mentioning that the skiable area available these days among the three Grandvalira Resorts stations is 270 km, of which 180 km are in Grandvalira, 63 km in Pal Arinsal (100% of slopes), and 30 km in Ordino Arcalís. Likewise, Grandvalira has snow depths of up to 140 cm and Pal Arinsal up to 115 cm.
